Cambridge Secondary Programme 1 (11-14 years)

What is Cambridge Secondary Programme 1?

Cambridge Secondary Programme 1 is for students of the age group 11 to 14 years (grade 6 to grade 8). It develops learner skills and understanding in English, mathematics and science for the first three years of secondary education. The program provides a natural progression from primary education. It sets clear learning objectives for the first three years of secondary education in English, mathematics and science. It is compatible with other curricula, internationally relevant and sensitive to different needs and cultures.

Assessment

Cambridge Secondary 1 Checkpoint Assessment is taken on completion of Grade 8.
  • It is a test to assess learning at the end of Cambridge Secondary 1 and provide evidence of readiness for the next stage.
